You've Landed in
Cave Diving Country

Florida's North Central springs system is one of the great wonders of the diving world. Crystal-clear, 72°F (22°C) water. Visibility that stretches to infinity. Formations that took millennia to carve. Divers fly in from Europe, Asia, and across the Americas for what you have within a short drive from our front door.

As a SEAduction® student, you train in these legendary systems — not as a tourist, but as a diver learning to own them.

The mainstream safety reference that divers and professionals actually read — because understanding what goes wrong is the best way to make sure it never does.

Teach Diving.
Mike Lives It.

For 35 years, Mike Ange has done one thing better than almost anyone on the planet: take people underwater and bring them home safely — and more in love with the ocean than when they went in. From the crystal springs of North Florida to the seas of Singapore, Portugal, and across three continents, he has trained thousands of divers and hundreds of instructors without a single major accident.

That record doesn't come from luck. It comes from 160+ active and emeritus certifications spanning recreational, technical, scientific, and public safety diving. From a Ph.D. in adult educational psychology with research focused on the diving industry. From authoring textbooks, magazine columns, and the kind of field experience that only decades in the water can build.

On this site, none of that matters as much as this: he makes it fun.

USNS Vandenberg · Key West, Florida

The World's Second Largest
Artificial Reef — From the Inside

As Technical Dive Team Leader for the sinking of the USNS Vandenberg, Mike led the first survey dives made on the wreck within minutes of her settling on the bottom. A 523-foot warship transformed into an underwater landmark that divers travel from around the world to explore. The same hands-on maritime expertise that put the Vandenberg on the bottom informs every advanced course Mike teaches today.
